Thames Ironworks claimed a convincing 3–1 victory over Cockney Cockrells at the Boleyn Ground. DAVID NEWMAN opened the scoring inside the first minute before a contentious penalty allowed Denis Staples to level. The hosts regained control as Puerte Feurto fired home on 37 minutes and Dani Octavio added a superb third shortly after. Despite periods of pressure, the Cockrells struggled to create clear chances and their hopes faded when Staples was sent off on 69 minutes. Newman remained a constant threat and was deservedly named Man of the Match as Ironworks dominated possession and secured all three points.

Thames Ironworks delivered a flat, disheartening performance in a heavy 4–0 defeat to Arctic Storm. The hosts never recovered after conceding early, with Manfred Hanoi running riot and completing a ruthless hat-trick before the break. Even at 3–0 down, Ironworks showed little urgency or cohesion, and L. Orford’s needless second yellow early in the second half ended any faint hopes of a comeback. Missed chances, sloppy defending, and a lack of creativity summed up a miserable afternoon. Arctic Storm dominated every area of the pitch, while Ironworks were left frustrated, injured, and well beaten in front of their home crowd.

Thames Ironworks 1–4 Reykjavik Reapers

Reykjavik Reapers produced a dominant display at the Boleyn Ground, overcoming Thames Ironworks 4–1 in an assertive OFMC Division One performance. The visitors struck early, with A. Perebyinis bending in a superb third-minute opener before doubling his tally on 37 minutes. M. Bernard added two of his own, capitalising on defensive lapses in the 27th and 44th minutes to put the Reapers firmly in control by half-time.

Thames Ironworks struggled to contain Reykjavik’s fluid midfield and incisive movement, though Campari_Torr+ briefly raised hopes with a fortunate 32nd-minute strike. Despite flashes from standout performer Raya_Herreira, the hosts failed to build sustained pressure, repeatedly denied by goalkeeper P. Andrewsen in the opening half.

The second period saw fewer chances for both sides, with the Reapers comfortably managing their lead. Perebyinis was deservedly named Man of the Match as Reykjavik secured a convincing away victory.

Ironworks began there season with  a 4-2 win at Windmill Lane in a frantic Division One clash. The Ironworks struck early and punished every lapse. The visitors exploded out the gate – Raya_Herreira fired them ahead inside the opening minute before Esparragurza doubled the lead on 4 minutes. Rangers were shell shocked, but gradually found rhythm and Sander_Rubios dragged them back into it with a superb finish on 15 minutes. However just as momentum was turning, Fred_Woodgate produced a brilliant lob to restore the two-goal cushion on 19 minutes.

Rangers created a mountain of chances – 28 shots in total – but found R_Huolier in inspired form and their finishing repeatedly deserted them. Rubios smashed in another spectacular strike on 32 minutes giving them hope, but the equaliser never came despite constant pressure and woodwork hit. Danni wrapped it with a clinical 74th minute strike.

Rangers will feel this was one that got away. Ironworks simply took their moments.
