Sarnians 5-1 Pompey Chimes

A great result but a surprising game, Pompey manage to score the first 3 goals of the game with Calderwood contributing two own goals in the first half either side of Murrayfield netting at the right end of the pitch. It was 3-1 at half time thanks to Codi Domino catching David James flat footed and the newly reopened Deadman’s Alley was raucous at a full 90,000 capacity.

The second half was ours and 18 year old Codi Domino scored two more to get another hat trick matchball to show last season wasn’t a one off breakthrough. There was plenty of close season interest in the Jamaican but he really is going nowhere and having been given the number 10 shirt is rising under expection.
