Kyushu Yakuza vs Reykjavik Reapers

The group stages of the XBOX cup start tonight and the Reapers from Iceland are visiting us, they got to think that its a good time to play us as we have not got off to the brightest start and they could be right as only 3-5 players will retain their places as the manager has stated that he WILL make changes as he searches for his first win of this fledgling season. He is hoping to spark the squad as he has hammered them at the center as he is not happy with the results and the attitude and application during these games. WATCH THIS SPACE

Kyushu Yakuza 3 - 3 Golden Eagles FC

Probably on paper the match of the game round going into the weekend and it did not fail to live up to the billing. It always promised to be a close game and we started it on the front foot taking the lead early when Caoimhin Og pounced on a a rebound of the woodwork from a Groves shot to take an early lead. then man of the match, Julio Xavier made his impression on the game, first on the 8th minute when he was played through to level the game, then on the 17th minute he hit a thundering volley to take the lead.
we scored three in our first game now we going nee three again to have any chance and Grove stepped up to give us a chance on the 25th minute hen he equalised which was to end up being the last goal of the half and now we had to regroup.
The second half started a bit like a heavyweight boxing match with both sides looking for the knockout punch, and we struck the first blow which we hoped was the knockout blow when Nobunaga put us in the lead on the 69th minute but that was just a jab, as Alvarez got what we thought was a perfectly good goal disallowed also on the 69th minute, but that was not long in coming when our ex player @@@@@@ gave them the share of the points when he equalised on the 76th minute.
A good game for the neutral also Mark and Steve must be loving it, I don't think I've ever been on zero goal difference except when before the first game of any season, 6 goals scored 6 goals conceded. It will be a hard long season after what we can admit it has not been the start we wanted.
After the game at the post press match the manager admitted his disappointment but out interest he has declared no more sales of his players unless he advertises them as he is sick of being stung by ex players

Kyushu Yakuza vs Golden Eagles FC

So game week two approaches and we are entertaining the powerhouse (hem, hem) Eskimo wannabees Golden Eagles, and to be fair we hired a football pitch sized freezer and built some igloos, after all we have to see to the comforts of our visitors but we will not be rubbing noses with them after all they claim to be one of the power houses and we don't rate among the clouds.
now for the people that don't know like us who admitted we are playing clubs who are good enough to be a danger they could only draw their first game so like is lowly rated teams, they find themselves on a point id say they had pie on their faces making it look like their igloos had a bigger hole than necessary in the abode
but being real its a really hard fixture and we are looking to make some changes not many but a few as we look for a style that suits and we will give it a good try to come out on top but we ain't rushing to the bookies time will tell, will be able knock them off their highly inflated roost or will they proceed like they assume they will.

Darlington vs Yakuza
The long awaited season finally get started and we find ourselves "ON THE ROAD AGAIN" in a tricky away day to Darlington and they have always been a tricky away day but we are looking forward to it, there are not many changes in the pre season and we are expecting to be challenging late into the season but as we all know its as easy to lose as it is to win but we will always try to win.

I was reading and thinking (as i do) , and the thought I had is that the Eagle manager must think hes an eskimo sitting on a severe pointy bit of ice in his igloo claiming they are the heavyweights of the division HAR HAR HAR. What i will say is that his native indigenous fellow Finns the SAMI must be angry listening to this eskimo wannabe. Fellow competitors will be hoping to humble him and drag him back hoome from his self made igloo
