Just when you think you've seen it all. He's scored, wait a minute no he hasn't, oh no wait yep, he has eventually scored 20 mins later. The upshot? A draw, Helsinki's first of the season and whilst it was an entertaining series of events, it does mean they fall off the top spot and in fact down to third on goal difference with the miserly unbeaten Sarnians' defence putting them ahead on goals difference.
In terms of the game itself, Pompey came for a point and that is what they got. Their 5 man defensive with supporting DMs meant they were able to limit Helsinki to 18 shots and when Helsinki did get through they found the goalie in fine form. Even when Helsinki did eventually break through, Pompey equalised immediately with just their sixth shot of the game. So Helsinki do indeed end up giving up the benefit of the Eagles result almost immediately. They now look forward to the visit of 10th placed Sunset at the weekend.
